DATA PROTECTION DECLARATION
The data controller within the meaning of the applicable data protection laws, and in particular the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is:
Your Rights as a Data Subject & Rights of Appeal
You can at all times exercise the following rights by getting in touch with our Data Protection Officer via the contact details provided:
- Information about your stored data and its processing;
- Correction of any incorrect personal data;
- Deletion of the data that we store about you;
- Restrictions on how we process your data, if we are not yet allowed to delete it due to legal obligations;
- The right to object to our processing of your data; and
- Data portability, insofar as you have consented to the processing of your data or have entered into a contract with us.
If you have given us your consent, you can withdraw it at any time with effect for the future.
You can always contact the supervisory authority that is responsible for you with any complaint. Which supervisory authority is responsible for you depends on your place of residence, work or the place of the alleged violation. In Germany this is within the jurisdiction of the state (Bundesland). A list of the non-public-sector supervisory authorities can be found at: https://www.bfdi.bund.de/DE/Infothek/Anschriften_Links/anschriften_links-node.html.
Purposes of Data Processing by the Data Controller and Third Parties
We process your personal data only for the purpose stated in this data protection declaration. There will be no transfer of your personal data to third parties for purposes other than those stated. We only provide your personal data to third parties, if:
- You have given your express consent for such a transfer;
- Processing is necessary in order to execute a contract with you;
- Processing is necessary for fulfilment of a legal requirement;
- Processing is necessary to protect legitimate interests and there is no reason to believe that you have an overriding legitimate interest in not disclosing your information.
Deletion or Blocking of Data
We adhere to the principles of data avoidance and data economy. Therefore, we store your personal data only for as long as is necessary to achieve the purposes stated here, or for as long as is stipulated by the legislative authority for the various storage periods that it has identified. After the discontinuance of the relevant purpose or expiry of these deadlines, the corresponding data will be routinely blocked or deleted, in accordance with the statutory provisions.
To protect the security of your data during transmission, we use state-of-the-art encryption techniques (such as SSL) via HTTPS.
If you have questions of any kind, please contact us by e-mail or the contact form, giving us your consent for the purpose of making contact. You need to provide a valid e-mail address for this. We need this to allocate your request appropriately and respond to it. Disclosure of any additional data is voluntary. The information you provide will be stored for the purpose of processing the request and for any possible follow-up questions. Once your request has been dealt with, your personal data will be deleted automatically.
Usage of Script Libraries (Google Webfonts)
In order to render our content correctly and in a graphically appealing way across browsers, we use script and font libraries on this website, such as Google Webfonts (https://www.google.com/webfonts/). Google Webfonts are transferred to your browser’s cache to avoid multiple downloads. Should your browser not support Google Webfonts or prevent access, content will be displayed in a standard font.
Invoking script or font libraries automatically triggers a connection to the provider of the library. It is theoretically possible – but currently also unclear whether, and if so for what purposes – that operators of such libraries collect data.
Usage of Google Maps
We reserve the right to amend this data protection declaration to ensure that it is always in compliance with the latest legal requirements, or to reflect changes to our services in the data protection declaration, for example when introducing new services. Your subsequent visit will then be subject to the new data protection declaration.
Questions to the Data Protection Officer
